Why are there no good indys near guildford?!

Hi guys,

I live in Haslemere just south of Guildford, and can't seem to find a decent indy thats within 40 mins of me. Why is there no decent indys in the area! I don't have an issue driving to my current indy but the problem is that I work in London and that means it becomes such a juggle trying to arrange when I can collect the car. There is also the joy of sitting in traffic on the M25. Its getting to a point now where I might have to finally give in and go OPC in Guildford as they are so close. Any one who could point me in the direction of a solid indy around guildford/my area would be greatly appreciated.

I have used Eporsche in Woking Gu24. Rolly is a good guy with good honest pricing. I have also used GT-One in Chertsy they are also good but expensive . I would give eporsche a call.

You'll get a nice courtesy car with an OPC. Sometimes help soften the blow of the bill.

Analogue Automotive in Petersfield look after Porsches. I've used Stef for my Lotus.

Another vote for OPC Guildford with fixed price servicing and £80 an hour on older cars :-)

I prefer GT-One. Very good service. Not super cheap, but a reliable price. I had quite good service from OPC Guildford, but they always found a way of charging more for the job. What about Porsche Service Centre Byfleet (ex Camtune)?

I have had mini dealings with OPC Guildford, (PCM 3 update and a health check), BUT, they are very expensive, I mean a break fluid change for £150 is pretty crazy. Do you have any experience with Guildford OPC giving discounts, or coming down on their prices?

Yes :-)

I have had free MOT's the last 2 years, Panamera's for courtesy cars and £80 an hour labour.

Volkswagen charge over £120 an hour, which is why I go to A&M MOT in Slyfield for the GTI. Incidentally, I've seen R8's and 996 Turbo's in there with Ashley and I highly recommend him.

My 997 will continue to go to OPC Guildford however. Very happy with the team and usually deal with Matt in servicing.

A very nice courtesy car, convenience, Porsche stamp in the book, invites to events and excellent customer service keep me coming back.
