Clutch/Brake query on GT3
Discussion
Need some advice from more technically proficient people than myself.
Been noticing this week, that I am getting a weird movement on the brake pedal lever as I depress the clutch and sometimes the otherway around in the GT3.
Its periodic and particularly noticeable when the car is cold.
What could be the cause of this and what do I need to check?
Certainly hasn't been doing this until recently.

I've just had a look at the assembly drawings in the Porsche parts software. It looks like the clutch and the brake systems on the GT3 are completely independent of each other in terms of hydraulics, but the pedals share a single spindle. Logically then, a likely cause of your problem is lack of lubrication on this spindle, or grease that has gone a bit hard with dust and shite in it.
I wager that, were you to pull up the carpet and remove the cover to the pedal box, you'd find that moving on pedal would move the spindle rather than pivot around it, thus moving the other pedal a bit. Dismantle, clean-up, regrease and Robert your mum's brother.
If you wish I can email you the picture from the PET program.
Best of luck.
