Paint protection film aftercare?

Afternoon all,
I recently took delivery of a secondhand Panamera GTS, which has had the benefit of a full front end respray and I'm considering having paint protection film applied to the front end (bumper, bonnet, wings and mirrors) and rear bumper. I would use Topaz for this because they're near me and they get the approval of a few OCD car owners I know. I've been impressed by the results I've seen so far.
I'm happy with the quote but am concerned about the aftercare requirements (no use of Autoglym products and any pressure hose must be at a distance of at least 3 feet etc). I live in central London and don't always have the time to get the car to high grade valet companies, more often than not I rely on a decent local hand wash, who adopt the two bucket approach and are very careful about what they do. There are always a few Rolls, Bentley, Ferrari, Aston and Porsche owners using the same guys on a repeated basis, which I know is not a guarantee of quality but they've always looked after my cars well.
My question to anyone who has had PPF applied, is do you always get the highest quality car valet or could you make do with an outfit like the one I have described above? Even if a high quality hand wash could be used, I can see a situation arising where someone cleaning the car at a tyre fitters or even when the car is being serviced for example, might be over zealous with the pressure washer, or could end up using products that void the warranty. Does anyone have experience of damage to paint protection film from their car not having been cleaned in accordance with the warranty?

I've used Ventureshield for years and during the summer months when bugs are prolific I hit it hard with the car wash and NEVER, across multiple cars have I had an issue with water pressure damaging the film. Even when it is chipped from stones it is still fine. However one caveat, if you get a tear in it then water pressure will help lift it up over time, but it won't just fall off with one going over.
To keep it in good condition, wax it regularly with normal paint wax, or an even better product to use is Plexus plastic cleaner which is a plastic polish.
