From the handbook - max gross weight is 1,620KG

Max front axle load is 750kg

Empty weight 1,370Kg

weight split 64/36

empty load 438.5kg so if you can fit something in the front that weighs 311.5kg you should be Ok as long as you don't sit in it!!

^^^^????

I am not sure that. The handbook usually says.

You could do a similar calculation on my Evora and come up with a similar answer, but the handbook says 50kg max mass in the boot

Ha, ha....you should have taken a photo...the photoshoped images of your car lowered looked good!

I had 6 heavy boxes which I had 4 in the front and 2 in the back weighing around 12-13kg each. I've looked in the handbook and googled, but don't seem to find any specific weight limit.

Must say, it didn't look much lower and seemed to handle the same...though I did take it easy on the 40 mile journey...I managed to get nearly 40mpg!!

Now let's see, a bottle of wine must weigh about 0.8 kg.........
Alan Clark MP would know for a 993
"For everyday wines, Clark made frequent trips to France, particularly to a favourite small vineyard at Saint Bris in Burgundy. In his diaries, he included a photograph of himself arriving back at Saltwood after one of these journeys with the boot of his Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet packed to the gunwales with bottles."
