48 hour pass-out - where to take the Pork ?

Next weekend I have "48hr" pass out and want to take the Pork, top down somewhere good & warm.

Not interested in UK, being nr south coast, fancy France (with a bit of coast/sea thrown in)

Don't think I could make it to anywhere with real mountains & passes. From those that have recently done longer road trips in France, any pointers/areas for a V short trip (hotel will be booked on the fly)?

This. Done it several times in a 996. Great roads, very quiet but lots to see in the area.

Honfleur's a real possibility - seems popular and plenty of choice for Hotels/resturants as well

Local crossing options look good - Newhaven/Dieppe £115 return or Eurotunnel 'overnight stay' fare saver £65

There are some great roads in the north of France. Be aware of the police and pay attention to others flashing their lights. France still has the politeness to warn oncoming traffic if the police are hiding.

You can even bring back some passengers from calais.....
