Advise on V6 Cayenne Diesel tuning

Hi all,
I'm sure this has been discussed before but I couldn't find a meaningful thread on Pistonheads. I'm about to purchase a 2012 Cayenne V6 diesel and i'm trying to get more performance and better MPG out of the car. There are so many different aftermarket products out there claiming up to 40% increase in performance and 10-15% better fuel efficiency etc. My question is who do I go for are they truly as good as they claim? This is my 1st Diesel car ever so i guess I have plenty to learn.
