Is this cheap??
Discussion
Is this cheap bearing in mind current prices or is the model an undesired one, to me this looks very nice and in fantastic condition, I'd certainly prefer this to a £60k 3.2.

Yawn...car was worth less in the past shocker post...
most cars are worth less in the future no ?not quite yawn, it's a fact, which means imo it will be worth less in the future also.
bubble will burst like it did last time.
And the T is the lowest of the low 911 model.

these were £12k 3 or 4 years a go.
the S is the looker the E a maybe, the T , no thanks.
I am curious, what's wrong with the T? I have also been thinking about switching to a pre impact bumper car. The T version seems readily available compared to the S and E. Is it really that down-market?the S is the looker the E a maybe, the T , no thanks.

'S' goes for silly money ... damn they all go for silly money, but the E is the best of the three IMO if I had the dosh.
No bubble on old skool aircooled this side of an RS either me thinks. Just look at the wider classic market.

Nothing wrong with the T, just more a tourer rather than a racer. A friend has a very pretty white one and he loves it.

How many E, L and T are still original spec though? Most have been restored twice, crash repaired, had 2 engines rebuilds and had numerous upgrades and changes to spec?'S' goes for silly money ... damn they all go for silly money, but the E is the best of the three IMO.
Is it not more relevant to inspect any individual car to see what it actually is today?

Having owned driven and even raced these early cars for many years I can say that it is rubbish to say the T is the lowest of the low.
In fact the T is a great little car and this was reflected by many contemporary magazine road tests that praised it.
It is now very hard to find decent pre 74 cars, especially in RHD. If this car is solid and without the usual endemic rust of RHD cars, it is a reasonable price.

You can lunch £50k on metalwork and paint on these things in the blink of an eye on a plodded up nail ( to do a proper job at a specialist outfit). So if car is as straight as it looks and sounds, it is easily at its money.
Plenty of crap out there at £40-£50k that is a cam of worms under shiny paint!
