Had the stupid notion that my GT3 was too precious to use
It will lose money if I drive it
I need to keep the miles down
Woke up one day and gave myself a slap !!!
How stupid is that for an idea
So for the past week I've driven around London and up to Cambridge twice from Richmond
Just awesome and just reaffirmed my conclusion that I'd never sell it
So why not use it !!
So I am ...

What a pointless,nasty post.

People I know on here tell me they have met you and you are actually, a nice guy, and nothing like the oddball that you seem to portray yourself as on this forum.

Which is in essence a sort of David Brent.....only with less people skills.

May I suggest you try and behave as the person you apparently are away from your keyboard...if that is possible.. It would be a far nicer place in general.

Every comment you make just add to weight to the conclusion that you are a jealous, small minded, envious, green eyed person.

Well done OP!

Just had some photos done in my bunker of my cars. Here's one of the fantastic GT3, hope you don't mind me posting it here it just seems right as a "celebration" of an amazing car!

Thanks for that generous comment
I don't live in an area that is ideal for a GT3 so I have to cope with the few times I can drive it up to Cambridge . The rest is town driving or when I have time to take it for a blast
I apologise!

I agree with V8KSN get your car around Europe
I have just 2 weeks ago returned from a 4423 mile trip around Europe in mine, Aberdeen down to tunnel, stayed in Calaise, Denigny ,Castellette, Eze, Mougins,Lake Como, Venice, Saalback Hinterglem, Imst,Andermatt,Stuttgart,Baden Baden, back to the tunnel, stopped over in Cambridge and home.
Drove Route Napolean,Grossglochner / Hochtor pass,Hahntennjoch, Furka & Grimsel pass, road 500 to Baden Baden & others,
This was something I had planned to do for my 50th and the GT3 was the perfect tool for the job, some mornings we (mate in his Cayman) would leave the wives in the hotel and head out 06.30 go pros stuck to the side of the car and have fun on the mountain roads, Swiss mountain roads were just amazing, no traffic and just sheer driving pleasure. We had a full 16 days across Europe and I would describe it as not just a holiday but a life experience, Porsche factory tour on way home topped it off, I am sure many on here have done something similar but this for me was the first but not the last, I will be doing it again, anyone who has not done it but has thought about it go for it and if you can do it in something like the GT3 even better, I have the club sport / buckets on mine and I did wonder how wife would cope with so long in in the car without any seat adjustment, no problems supremely comfortable for the whole journey. Great trip and some great photos / video to look back on, car now on 8500 miles and loving it.
