Porsche 997 gts brakes
Discussion
Congratulations on the purchase! The 997 GTS is an epic car, get some pictures up so we can enjoy...
If I had bought the car as an approved used Porsche then I would have expected worn brakes to be replaced as part of the preparation for sale. If they are indeed worn it may be worth asking the supplying dealer about this oversight. Otherwise enjoy!

OP, great choice, you will really enjoy the GTS. FWIW, I have had my 4 GTS since new and after 3 and half years and just over 50k miles I'm still on original pads and discs! I always ask the OPC at service to check for renewal and when I had the 111 point check for extending the warranty after 3 years, again they confirmed pads and discs were fine.
Enjoy the GTS mate I bought one a month ago and I love it totally different from the 997 turbo I had before.
Pretty sure mine are on original discs and pads. 4 years old 25k miles . Just had major service and both pads and discs not even 'Amber' on the 111 point check.
