Don't believe it.
Sure someone is in the middle of a project and balanced the rear engine lid grille there as a joke.

If that rusty 1982 SC went for £16.8k then this looks a better starting point for a project car. Sell the V8 and add the aircooled engine of your choice.
Probably worth a low offer for someone!

The wooden construction at the front looks real and not a wind-up, but you do have to ask why!
If the V8 installation doesn't work because it over-heats, it'd be more sellable with that as a statement and without the woodwork!
Hey ho. If the price keeps going down maybe it will get economical to buy and re-engine with a proper one!
