Switchable sports exhaust what to do

I have a 996 C4S with factory fitted switchable sports exhaust, the muffler boxes have started to blow and the seams are all corroded. I've been quoted £3400 to have them replaced. I keep the exhaust in the loud position all the time and have even taken out the link on the relay box so they don't go quiet at 30mph. Is it worth replacing with the switchable or have a non switched sports exhaust fitted, if so any recommendations

price sounds extortionate. If kept on loud just get a full Hayward and Scott system or the like for around £1.5-2k.

Not really, I'd say that's cheap for a new PSE. I got quoted £4k + fitting.
Went down the Carnewal GT route in the end for 950 euros
