Drive off assistance failure

2010 997.2 turbo manual
keep getting this on the display, usually activates when slowing down for a junction or coming to halt at the lights. Its been back to OPC (twice) who have adjusted the sensor under the clutch but it has since returned. Has anyone had a similar experience and could advise as there seems to be equal amounts of head and chin scratching but no solution.....?

I would have thought they would have changed the clutch switch instead of adjusting it , unless its a new magnetic type then im not sure it can be adjusted.
The fault, i would expect , would only come up on dashboard when car is at a stop and not slowing down , if so changeing the brake pedal switch would be my best guess.
It would be interesting to know if there were any fault codes listed and what the actual values were

I have had a few dealings with the DOA system; two things, the message is information (white display) and can be reset with the ignition.
The system has a logic that has to 'see' a clutch operation within a window of time; if the number of clutch operations are outside parameters then the system is deactivated.
In my experience the cause is that the clutch is not fully released (driver resting foot on pedal between changes) borne out by the fact the issue generally arises during a particular driving situation - after a cold start; within the first 2-3 miles of a journey in town or where traffic lights and regular gear changes increased the propensity of the driver to hover on the clutch - the cold start point wasn't always a factor - issue could arise after a 100 mile trip but always in the described situation.
Make a concerted effort to use the foot rest between changes and see if the message occurences lessen
