Boxster S,

I have two broken corroded bolts for my Manifold/Header.
I tried one of the extractor kits for removing bolts but now the extractor tool has broken off in the bolt.

I believe the only way to get it out now is to use a Spark eroding method.

Does anyone know of anyone or company that can do it via a mobile service?

Thanks

Not exactly the reply you want, but just replaced both front wheel bearings and on each side two bearing retaining plate bolts of four snapped off flush with the ally hub carrier.

They were removed by building them up using regular CO2 welding till there was something proud to grab a hold of.

Not easily I must add.

Thanks for the reply but not really ideally suited in my situation

one of the bolts needs drilling out or sparked out
the other one with the extractor tool in - we smoothed down the broken tool so at least could temporarily get the header back on and running..

so really i just need something to deal with the two bolts that can deal with both problems so to speak

Best off with this I reckon (do a search been discussed on here before, and some PHers have used this to good effect):

Can't think of a way how "spark eroding"would help you really...

The bolt with the broken extractor in will be very hard to drill out.

Sparking is probably the way to go, but don't have any specific recommendations.
