Just read this in the news! Big deal for Porsche AG. Hatz gone, Müller potentially leaving for VW.

It was merely a one line comment within a sky news article on the wider emissions issue.

Hatz joined the Volkswagen Group in 2001. Here, too, he served as Head of Engines and Transmissions Development at Audi until 2009, having assumed the same function within the VW Group in February 2007.

Is it this, from http://news.sky.com/story/1557911/vw-manipulated-t...

'German newspaper Bild reported that two of Volkswagen group's most senior engineers will be forced to leave. Audi's research and development boss Ulrich Hackenberg and Porsche's engine chief Wolfgang Hatz will be dismissed, Bild reported, citing unnamed company sources.'

If so, that's not really the same as 'Hatz sacked'. It's a newspaper hypothesising. The Wail story is a report of that Bild hypothesis. About as far from fact as you can probably get.

BP- the news that the CEO was going to be pushed out came out 2 days prior to it happening. The CEO even denied it in the interim. Hatz is history. quitting, sacking. whats the difference.

Autocar has just posted this:

Another case of passing on the hypothesising.
You may eventually be right but it's far from a fact just yet.
