Best place to buy new pccb pads?

I'm looking at replacing the pads on my PCCB. Anyone had any experience of swapping them and where is the best place to purchase? Can you just connect both wires of a broken wear sensor (as in most other cars) rather than put new sensors in? I'm capable of checking my pads and as the pads will last another 50,000 miles it shouldn't be a problem to check... Car isn't tracked.
