I have a 1999 996 C4 and I have a couple of questions,
1, My brake pad warning lights have come, after about a day later the PSM and ABS light has followed, would this be because I need brake pads that it kicks it all out of place.

2, When I filled my Windscreen washer bottle up the other day I heard a dripping sound from under the bonnet bay after closer inspection it was of course the bottle leaking. any ideas of how much they are and how hard the job is???

All responses will be most grateful.

1, Sound reasonable.

2, No idea, ask your nearest OPC.

Just replied to bump this up.

2. Are you sure its not just the over flow pipe, can you actually see a crack / leak ?

Recently had to replace the washerbottle on the boxster. After a stone managed to cut through the bottom of it. I expect this could be your problem. Of course OPC said, " not as east to replace as you would think Mr Andrews " wheel off, internal wheel arch off, etc etc... huge bill compared to size of job.Car currently with opc at the moment having wheel bearing done along with new exhaust . Dont expect to ill see much any change from four figures. Boxsters the cheap mans Porsche !

And before you say it....no independants in Cornwall.

I should add in all fairness my local OPC have been very helpful and coffee very nice too. Sent a man down to collect my car and deliver the loan car, which saved me having to take a full day off work.

P.s. Man at Opc, if you read my intial post i obviously expect to see alot of change out of four figures, when you calculate my bill later on today.

Cant see crack/leak. spoke OPC and they said that it could be the pipe that had come away from the bottle, they also said it was an easy job, wheel off, inner lining off and the bottle sits there proud. as for the other issue OPC having a look for me, they reckon it could be the rear brake warning lights thats kicking all the warning lights out!! (hopefully thats all it is.!

thanks for help guys
