homelink issue

hormann door system ,remote links with car but when I press button in car,nothign happens.Any clue ?

works perfectly with gate but thats on a different system.

Silly question, but have you synced the homelink to the door, as I am presuming it is a rolling code? I think many gates are fixed.

I have a Hormann door system and no problem. However in the latest Porsche (997 Turbo S cab) I notice that you have to press the button for longer to activate the garage door system than the Gate. Its seems like a simple push will not work you have to press for a couple of seconds. At first I didn't think it was working and kept re-programming.

Im emailing homelink ,according to their homepage my remote should work .
