porsche cayenne no start 05 reg

hi, friends 05 cayenne turbo wont start happened few weeks ago, but was able to get started again, via jump leads. Now have re tried this route & nothing, have got 12v at jump points in engine bay.

Gained access to the battery & there is no light showing in top of the battery.So that may be just that simple, did then put jump leads there also but still no start, but couple of other bits.

Also when attempt to start the headlights turned off but nothing else ( i got him to turn off the auto function to save any unnecessary drains)

messages appear on the dash are brake system misporption, & air suspension malfunction,the hand brake light also flashes, little bit of searching found anything from the starter is dead, maybe pedal switch is faulty, or even the wires in the black sheathing / tape in drivers footwell ( RHD ) could be corroded broken .

So wondered if possible on others opinions

It sounds like your battery is Donald Ducked. There is probably a dead cell so that's why it won't even jump start, and battety can cause all sorts of faults with the logic in the various control ECU's.

Agreed. Change the battery.

Ok thanks .quoted 150 for new battery.but got the car they should be able to afford it.
