with all these new cars arriving over last couple of weeks and more arriving by end of year I thought it might be a good idea to start a register of sorts of all those who have received their cars with new owners adding as their cars arrive!something like this ran a few years ago with the spyder/cr.

so keep it simple ie name, colour/wheels and whether cs

Do you have a car ?

I guess this will sort out the keepers from the flippers -- though each to their own !!

Yes I do have a car coming in 2 weeks and not a flipper if everyone who gets a car registers might nice to see how many on here have got cars when this was done with the spyder/cr I think we had something like 50 names down may be I should have added 981 spyder as they are blood brothers but to late now

You'd think it would be simple? Itsy asked for "name, colour/wheels and whether cs"

Like to try again?

I've got 3 long months to wait for my White/Platinum CS!

There's a definite connection with Clubsport pack and being at home on a Saturday evening with a laptop!

What is the purpose of such a register?

What benefits will it provide?

Just a bit of fun but also with so many new owners collecting cars and the majority of new gt4 owners on pistonheads it might give some idea of numbers/deliveries as names I have never seen before on the main gt4 post or others have started to pop up over the last week or so collecting cars. But it's already gone wrong !
I don't do Facebook like so many others so that would be a waist of time

Is it purely coincidental that as a non clubsport GT4 i took it for a quick blast last night around my local country road block.Must admit the road conditions were pretty horrific i.e rain, gales, standing water and gravel and debris washed onto road.Have now used up totally the full tank of fuel courtesy of OPC Cardiff and have decided only to use super unleaded in the GT4.
I'm now getting more used to the car and don't pussyfoot so much in the rain as i did after i picked the car up.Have attempted to keep the revs below my self imposed limit of 4000rpm to run in.Car much better in the wet than expected concurring with what Apolo 1 said in that the dunlops are much better in the wet than the Michelinssmile.GT4 very confidence inspiring and pretty much impossible to find critique in.LWBS are the best seats i've ever sat in and have now found the perfect driving position i.e steering all the way in,seat closer to the steering wheel than i have in my Cayenne and arms more bent than normal aka racing driver style which suits the car.I don't find the gearing too long, in fact when running in at less than 4000rpm pretty much perfect.First thing i do when i start her up is press the sport and sports exhaust buttons which imho should be default.
Car is plenty quick enough for our roads, rides pretty well, astonishing body control, fantastic gear change and wondrous brakes,EPAS also is pinsharp accurate, perfect weighing and communicative.Gonna be difficult to avoid speeding points when i use the whole rev range as it brings out the devil in me!!driving
I'm undecided on whether or not to have it crystal serumed head to toe and have the front, side sills and air scoop either suntek or Xpel wrapped.Any feedback on this and recommendations in mid to south wales much appreciated.
P S Guards,plat wheels,no clubsport,LWBS and PCCB.
