Hi

I put our dog in the car, did not disable the interior sensors (whoops!) and he set off the alarm.

I switched off the alarm but now it is not possible to use the remote key fob for setting the alarm or getting into the boot/bonnet.

Ihave to phsically unlock the drivers door and then open passenger door from inside. The engine has to be running to open boot etc

How/can I reset the alarm so it is back to normal?

Also, off topic here but never mind, our rear plastic window cracked teh oter day when we were putting the hardtop on - anyone else had this problem? (temperature was about 8 degrees) How much to replace etc?

Thanks

Car 4 years old by the way and we have had it from new.

I've had this before, but opening with the key normally seems to reset it. Does the horn beep once when you attempt to look with the remote? If so, it means that one of the door or other sensors is still open; the lid on the box between the seats is a common culprit for me.

A quick one to try, is put the key in the ignition, turn the ignition on and then hold down the lock/unlock button on the key head for a few seconds.

Cheers,
