Early Christmas Present - 991 GTS
Discussion
Hi
Apologies for sharing a photo of my new car but it must be done, an early Christmas present for myself
. The 997 Turbo S was changed with a more than a little trepidation for the 991 GTS, two weeks into the purchase and absolutely no regrets whatsoever. I LOVE IT.
With a more muted exhaust note in the Turbo S I had forgotten how much I missed the noise of the PSE until I drove the GTS
. Although not as fast in a straight line the GTS is much more fun to drive. I had planned to change Turbo S with a new 991.2 4S in the new year, but thought the reviews and following for this car were so positive it was a must have for me.
All the usual bits, centre locks, alcantara, pdk and the glass sunroof which I had n't included in the original spec when I was searching for this car, I must admit it will be a standard requirement for all new purchases.
One thing I had not expected was the massive improvement in road noise, the Turbo S was so noisy, the GTS is much more quiet and with the sunroof open I can hear the PSE
