Do a trackshare day this year. The Spa trackday prompted me to give the company a mention but I think they deserve their own little thread. Did a winter test with them in Jerez pre-christmas and what a quality outfit. 5 or 6 GT3 cup cars, (the real thing - not look-a-likes), 2 drivers per car for the 2 days. Free instruction from the pick of the Carrera Cup drivers and a couple of Ferrari 360 Challenge cars for good measure. It was cheaper to use them than my own car !

They will have a number of events this year and you can book on a singles or groups. Given their days are inclusive of everything they make a lot of sense, (work out you spend on track, fuel, spares, service, tyres, etc.)

The only downside is that both the owner and chief instructor are the most ugly people I`ve ever seen in my life but you can`t have everything !

As usual nothing to do with the company etc, etc. But it does rather blow the opposition away, especially if you go on one of their foreign days where you pretty much have the track to yourself.

There's definitely a link between driving ability and being facially challenged. Look at Vic Elford. One of the best, one of the ugliest.

Website is http:www.trakshare.co.uk

Speak to Chris Foy on 01423 865600. Tell him Henry sent you and they`ll treat you like a king (or queen !), and throw in an extra sticky bun at lunch !
