Hi all,

our 911 993 Turbo N1SWO which was stolen last Friday night from SL2 has been found on the Britwell Estate this morning. Thanks for your vigilance. State of the car as yet unknown but at least not a write off. Looking now for recommendations for a good Porsche bodyshop....

Maybe parked up, to see if tracker was fitted if not come back later to get the car.

Its a old trick by those type of people.

Very pleased to hear this. Hope there is not much requiring doing to restore it back to where it was.

Good to hear both have been recovered.

As an aside, if not too clinical, can anyone speculate as to what the perpetrators intentions might have been with the cars - simple joy rides, parts salvage or other?

Well done on recovering the car though lord knows what state it will be in after a spell on the Britwell rolleyes

Give Tyrone at Riviera Autobody a call 0118 983 1147; always got loads of Porsches & other high-end stuff going through his shop. He does the bodywork for Tognola & Northway to name but 2.

I belive OPC's use them. PCGB had a tour of their old facility a few years back - Impressive attention to detail.

Lost their recommended repairer status during the last shakeup a couple of years back.

Glad to hear it was found, and hope it isn't in too bad a shape. Cars never get stolen from the Britwell, but stolen cars often end up there.

It's great to hear that you finally got your 911 back. I read something about the Britwell Estate being one of the worst places to live in the country. If someone steals my car It'll be the first place I look haha.

Britwell is nowhere near that bad. I've never had any problems parking there.

When it's one of the worst places in one of the worst towns it makes it bad enough smile

Slough wouldn't even make the top 10 for worst UK towns.
