Why would Porsche out the blue suddenly change the way they release their versions... i.e. - skip a gen to and go straight to 992??

Makes no sense and don't know why people would think as such. Gen 2 GT3 should be with us by early 2017 and then gen 2 RS by the end of 17 / early 18. Every dealer who I have my name down with stated exactly the same timeline. Sure Porsche wont 100% confirm but it's no secret...
