Anyone here got a 968 or 993 AND a 987 or 997? Gearknob Q!
Discussion
My as we all know the 987 / 997 interior is not the most hardwearing. I am just spending £85 getting my climate buttons refinished (will post before / after pics & details of vendor if it is any good) and am also aware that my 997 gearknob insert is very worn where my wedding ring rubs it, one of the few disadvantages of being married of course
I was about to look into getting it repainted when I stumbled across this item at Design911, which fits 968 and 993 cars. It is made of aluminium and engraved, rather than the crappy painted plastic in the later cars.
Does anyone have an older (968 or 993) car as well as a newer (987/C / 997) car and be prepared to brave the cold, pop out to the car and see if they fit? They pop off at the back with just a tiny bit of pressure from a small flathead screwdriver.
I could ask Design911 but they have unfortunately got few things just like this wrong before so I thought it would be better to check

Thanks!
