Mind if i ask who you mean? The reason i ask is if it's who i think it is i have also had a bad experience with him which has ultimately proved both costly and inconvenient. A cryptic clue will suffice to avoid overt naming. Not had a great experience with autofarm myself. I believe that many of the staff who helped build the good reputation no longer work there. I would make sure it's very clear what you expect to be done and to what level of quality before handing over your pride and joy. I had a car inspected by them and amongst other things they failed to diagnose a large number of suspension components which needed replacing. This was picked up by CG a couple of weeks later when I wasn't happy with the handling. Everything was sorted in the end but I was left feeling that autofarm had just given the car a cursory glance over and missed some basic stuff which should have been picked up.

Not wanting to deliberately take this thread OT, but was this because Autofarm use iron liners?
Yes it was. They were also slightly more expensive with a shorter warranty if I remember correctly. If I had something air cooled for a rebuild it would definitely be going to Autofarm though. I'd also go back to them for servicing if they'll use the oil I want and once my warranty has expired.m444ttb said:

Ohhh don't get me started on that robbing Coont. Funny met a local guy who'd heard he's got big finance issues so SOR is a dangerous game .

I like Autofarm. Always a pleasure to deal with. Although I decided to go to Hartech for my engine rebuild as I preferred their solution.

I used them to build my track day 996 back in '09 and stay in touch with Mikey (now an owner) to this day, despite being out of Pork for years.
Great guys, great attitude and great work ethic.
