"My" OPC told me 30% of cars they sell are white....salesman reckons it's here to stay. I am not so sure, it was very popular in the 80's and was almost non existant in the 90's. When I bought my GTS I couldn't believe how many cars were white or black....virtually every car on sale were in those colours.

Not a lot of adventurous colour choices going on at my local OPC it would seem. Black, white or resale-grey..........??
Why, when discussing colour choices, is there an assumption that people only choose 'boring' grey / silver / black cars for residual reasons, rather than simply wanting a more subtle and less in your face colour?sidicks said:

To be fair, most of those on that trailer are Macans and they don't look very good in bright colours...
There's only 1 Macan
And seeing as PTS is nigh on impossible to order, these are the often the best of the rest. I wish Porsche would offer a better selection of colours across the models.

If you want a good residual go PTS....even with the extra cost on the right car a PTS car will always sell very well.
I agree, for certain cars in certain colours!Cheib said:

I went PTS for my 991 and endured the cost and delay that comes with PTS. Opens up massive rainbow of colours. And the result was worth it to me. Car finally arrived 3 months ago and I love it. Went for.......light grey, solid ! If you're around the Porsche parking area in the infield at the WEC event at Silverstone this weekend, I'll show anyone how grey can be great.

Nah mate, looks awful. In fact, its probably worth half that of a red or yellow one.I will take it off your hands as a personal favour.

Them silver/grey cars are worth next to nothing these days. It's all about orange or purple.
