Reputation was GT or tuned turbo respectively. I'd probably choose 9e for a 996 turbo, but plenty of other good indies depending on where you live, especially if it's just a service.

I use Jaz in St.Albans for my 996 turbo.

Matt at Fearnsport is excellent, superb knowledge, great job and reasonable. I've used him for my 997 turbo and could recommend him.

Mine goes to PCT in Coventry, used them for last 10 years +. Great guys, recommended.

I use 9e exclusively for mine. Would certainly recommend, but not sure a c300 mile round trip would make sense just for a minor service and some bolts...
