997 GT3 exhaust valve replacement

You "might" be able to get to it without taking the bumper off (I can't for my life remember if you can, part of the heads and the side silencer frame/stay might be obstructing access).
If you can get to it, then it is only two nuts, a hose and the ball joint - however if it is badly corroded, you might need to take the side silencers off (bumper defo needs to come off). Have a look underneath the car (a ramp will do) and check if you can get a small ratched in (maybe with a flex shaft) and judge how badly its corroded. Let me know - bumper off is easy I can give u pointers, I'm sure other will be along soon, too.

It seems simple enough to change but I hate working on the exhaust as once the car is on the ramp you have to wait for everything to cool down ...... or put on some oven gloves!
I feared the bumper would have to come off again, typical really....I had only just put the bypass exhaust back on a couple of weeks ago!
