Are there any problems getting a 993 up the loading ramps?, they seem a bit steep for a low car

Never had an issue with my 964RS, nor have any of the guys I've travelled with 993RS, 993TT, GT3.

That depends on whether you are talking about the big or little one.
I was on the big one, and was forced onto the top level. Got up there OK, but managed to clip my rear bumper getting off the ramp.

Just insist on staying on the lower level of the boat.
I did on the return journey.

Otherwise, I had absolutely no problems, just travel slowly.

Girlfriend and I used the SeaCat last summer in 996TT not too laden outbound. Cars packed close (like tunnel) with the prospect of movement (unlike tunnel) did worry me a little – told to stop acting like a woman by my woman. On return car was full to the roof with booze though. Clearances were OK going out. Ramps off are quite wide so I could take the overlapping steel plates at slight angle which lessoned the inevitable scrape on return leg. Only front spolier was ever an issue. Find the tunnel is hassle free for low cars. No matter what deck you are put on.
