Hi guys, I've got a 996 TT X50 and I've got a little dent on
the rear wing just above the lip. I've been told by a dent repair man that he'll need to take off the entire wing to fix
it as the inside skin inner lip is welded to the outter lip.

Is this true.

Maybe get a second opinion on it.
If it is the case then I have seen dent people use suction cup methods to get out small dents very effectively, that could be an option.

Sorry to hear this Philo. I picked up a similar one recently from a rental Fiat that parked next my 993, but the bu££ers obviously made sure that they compounded my agony by scraping the paint off as well.

Its only about 15mm all round but your eye gets drawn to it all the time.

If you get yours done well, please us know who does it, as I am not so confident about these "dentless folk"
