Paint Protection Film & Porsche Entry & Drive - Problem

I've just got the front of my car done with 3M Ventureshield and found what I think is going to be a bit of a problem. Quite often now when I walk past the front of the car even up to a metre or so away from the front bumper, and the hood pops. It appears as though the film is mimicking a hand and it just needs the key in the range to pop the trunk.

Anybody else found this? Not sure how I could ever fix it.

Which car? Mine has no "hand sensor". More likely a problem with the key? Sending open signal When you don't mean it to.

MY16 981 Cayman. Normally you just have to wive your hand over the bumper bar in front of the Porsche badge. Now I can just walk past the front of it and 50% of the time it will open. Maybe the dealer can knock its sensitivity back?

This makes no sense. The bonnet only releases if you physically press the button on the remote or from inside. No 'waving' or proximity sensor AFAIK.

Yes it does, it's part of the Porsche entry and drive package, see here:
