Afternoon all

Just trying to plan a quick driving day in Northern France (early morning arrival to late evening departure) and I would welcome any suggestions on routes and roads you may have.

Not planning to stop for lunch (probably have a sandwich in a car park or similar) just want to drive all day on some great roads.

Any suggestions?

You are doing it all wrong. Get a grip man.
The roads in the north are not so good apparently.
Take a friend. Drive a short distance. Spend all day eating and drinking. The friend drives home as you sleep.
Nothing wrong with a large slice of gluttony. biggrin

I have heard they are not the best but the worst roads in France are better than the roads here biggrin

It's just a short day trip (makes a change from Wales) and we thought we would give it a try.

Yes agree the roads close to Calais/Dunkerque are just something to drive through asap.

Perhaps sticking to the coast and doing the war related sights a better option.
