Porsche Rental in Iceland

heading to iceland for a wedding - anyone know somewhere i can rent a porsche (not a cayenne) for a long weekend as the roads there are awesome.

a quick look on the standard rentals shops doesn't deliver.. (and i am not going to ship mine there for a few days)

The roads are indeed awesome but I can't imagine you can rent Sports Cars there ? Only be a tiny market there for it and then only for a small part of the year. I'd be renting one of those massive 4x4's they have and renting something you can't rent anywhere else in the world!

The roads are awesome indeed. But there are loads of cattle grids, narrow bridges etc. Pot holes galore. If you do find a Porsche to rent be careful - You could easily loose your damage deposit.

When i was out there last Xmas, there were a few 911s and Boxsters there, but privately owned.

Important to note is that the police likes to hunt speeders (even in the middle of nowhere). And the fines are horrendous.
