If you're under 30 i can heartily recommend Privilege.
They've been cheaper for me on a variety of "interesting" cars for several years now (everyday cars, not garage queens on limited mileage).
If you're after limited mileage, try Classicline (in Lutterworth, Leics).
VS
Oh, and "nice car mate"

I'm tempted to ask what they'd quote for a car like yours, Johnny - might be interesting to compare with what you're paying (or are you over 50, too?)![]()
Hey old timer.....I don't mind sharing that information!!
I pay £1300 a year fully comp. That includes about £100 to cover the engine upgrades and £100 to protect my NCB, so the basic quote was just £1100. I think it's limited to 7,000 miles, I've forgotten. The car needs to be a secoond car to qualify.
I use Bickley Insurance Services. Norwich Union underwrite it. However, Paul Howells reckons that NU may pull out of insuring track days. That would be a nightmare. As my car is 10 years old this year I'd probably get a classic car policy, they often include track days. I know Aon did when I covered my E30 M3s with them.
I pay £79 extra per track day, but they give you proof of cover in writing once you have paid for the track day on the phone using your credit card the week before which is very reassuring.
I am 31 by the way and well past my prime.

It's good to know that there are advantages in reaching one's dotage! My £601 Saga insurance is also fully comp, including protected NCB, legal protection, personal cover, no cost overseas (EU) for unlimited periods, low excess (£350 for accident), and all this covers my better half at the wheel as well! (As if...!)
That said, I'd swap it all for that 993 RS of yours - what a stunning car!
Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

), it's worth trying Saga - they have quoted me £600 for a 993 Targa in SE London. Beats my Liverpool & Victoria insurance for the past year by over £100.
