I have had the 'park brake failure' light come on on several occasions ,so I took it into the OPC ,the service manager immediately said..'it's probably the motor for the brakes ,we've had several we have had to replace' .Anyone else had this as I have read/heard nothing but what he said was correct as their diagnostic test showed the motor needed replacing.

I had the red light on the parking release flash at me once with a message on the dash about a failure, but it hasn't happened since. Probably the same thing and may need to keep an eye on it.

Had this on the black PEC car. Switched off/on and went away. Had a PDLS fault couple of times early on that hasn't returned since

Mine has just started doing this! Switching the car off/on sorts it, but that's not the point.

Took it into the garage yesterday, but they could find anything wrong with it...

if light more than once take it back asap !!!

this guys bill was $4.5k same issue

Turns out that even though it appeared to be behaving correctly, quite a bit had gone wrong, as described in the summary below. The car ended up in the shop for 10 days over this due to 3 rounds of ordering parts triggered by 2 failed calibration attempts over the course of several calls with the Porsche mothership in Germany. !!!
