Specialist in or near Cambridge (boxster microswitch)

Anyone know of a specialist around south cambs/ Royston that can replace my microswitch on my boxster (987) on the door/window.
I was thinking of doing it myself but just too busy.

Why not give Cambridge OPC a ring, they are your side of town. I've always found them very helpful for small things or changing a battery when you are running but don't think it will re start the car if you stop it! You'll get a free coffee and chance to kick some new tyres too.

It's a new door lock assy unless you DIY.

It's a bit fiddly to replace but not in any way difficult, but do check the online how-to's before.

In all probability the microswitches are fine, but one of the solder connections to the board has gone dry, this is very hard to see - needed to macro-photograph and view on screen to confirm mine.

Jamie at JRW Automotive very close to Stansted Airport. Very good, very nice and always tells you what you could and what you need to do. Have also seem him build 996/997 engines after bore scoring issues - very impressive.
