Anyone had the 1016 Industries or similar PDK reflash?

I was just reading a bit of feedback on one of the US forums about the PDK reflash available for 987 and 997 PDK cars that supposedly improves the shifting on the PDK box. The bit that appealed most was getting a bit of the delay out from paddle to change which is a wee bit of a bugbear having driven Audi, BMW and even the wifes Discovery Sport that have auto boxes with more playstation like reactions to a pull on the paddles.
The cost appears to be completely eyewatering at £1000 from the US. I'm told they have a UK dealer and that its a popular mod yet I can only find evidence of one person having had it done. Are there any more out there?
