Macao GTS ride quality?

I,ve still got my now long term demo Macan diesel S, while my 991 is being fixed. I love the Macan so much I,ve put down a deposit (cleaver Porsche!) my question is, the more I play with the configuration of an S, it soon pushes me towards the GTS price point. My concern over going for the GTS is ride quality, is it significantly stiffer than an S, The S I have in on 21'' with steels / PASM? Has anyone experienced both?
Because I have a 991 as well I don't need my Macan to be overly sporty if that makes sense? But what draws me to the GTS is the lower stance, 20" spyder in black, plus the standard spec has most of the options I would choose anyway, although I would swap the alcantara for leather.

Thanks for the link, some good tips. Interesting thought on the GTS/DS depreciation, with lower GTS depreciation taking the sting out of the lower MPG. I'm only getting 32avg out of my DS demo anyway.

go GTS all the way. Slightly stiffer but more compliant than most S line Audis I have driven. Plus the GTS has sooo much more character

I have a GTS on the standard suspension and I think its a marked improvement over the standard models and I did not feel the need to get air. Although I know others sware by it.

Are you 20", Do you have PASM? What real time MPG to you get? Leather or Alcantara?

I have a GTS with 20 Spiders, PASM is standard on these. Its one of the best riding cars I've had, Comfort a bit too wallowy but Sport or Sport+ is fine on our roads. MPG is about 22 over the 10k I've done.

The 'Air Suspension' is very nice option and does improve the ride comfort. Would also recommend no bigger than 20" wheels.

I've stayed with 20's and gone with air, wifey would kerb the 21's anyhow.

Have GTS on 20' wheels with air suspension and it rides just as nicely as my S (without air) did if not nicer.

Air definitely improves the ride, and 20in wheels are probably the best ride/handling/aesthetics/rim protection combo.

I'm running a Turbo PP ( which has the GTS suspension ) on steel + 21's and the ride seems great to me .

I was told this week that I could expect a GTS Macan by next April / May, with a DS being July / Aug.....

Sorry I forgot to say I am also running 21's and I have no issue with the ride at all.

I cant think of a time when I have gone that was a sharp jolt like you would feel in a current Audi or BMW.

In terms of MPG we are currently averaging about 24. That's over 4,500 miles in a little over 3 months which includes in town driving every day.

Ok Great. Not quite the12-18month stories I've heard.

It's very model specific. A petrol S is still ages but the GTS and Diesel S are shorter. They could change the allocations at any time though so it's somewhat of a gamble, sadly.

Same spec, and that was my exact thought process!
