Braille Lithium Battery

Hi guys just sold my Porsche 991 GT3 RS and took out my Braille i48CE lithium light weight battery.. used for 1560 miles... huge weight saving..

I guess you did not gel with the purchaser. Do they know you took the battery out. Did you drain the fuel tank as well

I'm guessing (and it is only a guess) that the OP bought and fitted the lightweight battery himself : i.e. It didn't form part of the car's original factory supplied spec. Hence when he decided to sell the car, he'd look to retain the lightweight battery and refit the item supplied originally with the car.
As long as he didn't infer the lightweight battery was part of the deal, I don't see any problem in what he's doing. I'd be minded to do the same (and have done with brakes, exhaust and suspension components in the past on my GT3 & 2's)

Exactly this....especially when selling to a dealer ....and it was expensive, and unless you track your cars pretty much pointless for garage queen GT3RS's

Not yet, but I'm looking at one. They may adding a built in low voltage cutoff switch. Seems these lightweight batteries are really sensitive to discharge and if you accidentally drain it (by leaving something on) you'll kill it dead. Completely dead. Forever. The LVC circuit will prevent that and protect your [considerable] investment. Hope to see it this spring sometime (2017).
