OPC paint protection

Is this worth going for?

Or better to get it done at a detailers? £329 for the basic one which "ensures showroom finish".

From what I've seen from other posters, OPCs don't do a great job and a specialist detailer is recommended.

Depends on how much value you place on 329 quid. Probably detailer would do a better job but it would cost more. I one got an OPC to throw in a Swissvax detail for free as part of the deal. I didn't really want/need it but it made me feel better.
