Hi Folks,

This started as playful banter between my friends and I - I asked them what their favourite Porsche was.
There was a raft of answers, but for me, it is a Turbo - bodied 911 964.

Anybody else got a favourite?

993 without too many adornments or a 964. Always Coupes never Targa or convertible.

My factory engine upgrade 993 TT is the best I have ever owned (have had 6 911's), but have to say that a run in a friend's 959 when new in 1988 was something else at the time. ( I had a 3.3 turbo then, and the 959 made it look like a Lada)

I think I'll have to agree with Sam and co., the 993 GT2.

The car above is Vic Cohen's. It has a nicely tuned engine delivering 551 BHP and 600 lb/ft torque. It's in great nick.

When my ship comes in, I'll make him an offer on it.

Mind you, if we can include race cars, then it would have to be the 917 in Gulf colours. I also like the Ruf CTR Yellowbird and the 1973 911 RS.

356 Speedster, it smiles at you with that baby cheek of a face and big round eyes!

993 narrow body without spoiler/body kit/side skirt etc etc, pure and simple, melted butter look with a lean firm arrss.
