OPC Bristol have had a lovely silver rhd one available since before the beginning of the year.seems odd that it remains unsold, despite the high price, given the rarity and status that this machine has.Any thoughts/insight?

Saw the car last week in the showroom. I think it was stickered up at £125k with about 23k miles on the clock. Looked pristine.

Sounds great, but to me that is such a lot of money I would be scared to use it.....it has gone from an ultimate Porsche driving experience (probably) to a relatively illiquid investment.

From what I have heard about recent price increases, that isn't bad money for a good low mileage RHD car. There's a yellow RHD one at Malton for 150 grand.

Edited to add when John (the owner) fired it up on Saturday in the showroom it was so noisy it made the small dog a lady had with her go crazy

Why is everything for sale at Malton 10% more expensive than anywhere else?

They make OPC's look cheap.

I do know that the cars in the showroom are absolutely fantastic condition (a full valet takes up to 7 days ) and that the service they offer is excellent, the other end of the scale I know but I have nothing but praise for the work they have done on my 928. I am also lucky enough to live a mere 20 miles away.

That's true, but someone must buy their cars.

Service is top notch at Malton.

I agree their prices are high, but the cars are very well prepared both cosmetically and mechanically. Their warranty back up is meant to be excellent too.

Another reason why the GT2 is so expensive is that it has a 550 conversion from RS tuning. Plus having done 12K miles and being RHD also.

hi guys our gt2 has only done 12000kms not miles and is now 1 of only 10 cars and some 500 hours have been spent cleaning this car which makes it the very best available.

I had a 12k done on my 944 recently, and was massively impressed with the service and attitude of everyone in the showroom.
The lovely lady on reception was extremely helpful, the machanical chap introduced himself, took ownership of the car, and was massively helpful. When it came to collection time, the salesman apologised for not having been there the day before (!), and no-one complained that while I was slobbering over the black 993TT in the corner, my wife was lusting after the rubystone 964
Excellent place, and I havent been paid a penny to say so...

I do agree that Malton can be expesive for a few cars, but their stock and service is excellent.

I'm sure the independents would be far more thorough in their preperation and sevice than an opc. Your comparing enthusiasts with salesmen at the end of the day. Wish I had the disposable loot for such a beauty.

The car was there last wednesday, looks stunning with unchipped arctic silver paintwork and black interior (leather 993 bucket seats). Try emailing them for photos. I've been told they are selling it on behalf of a customer.

I just can't get the 993 out of my head !!

I was very close to looking into yours as i'd said before, but not seen many other good ones about since.

The 993 GT2 is the daddy IMHO, and just looks the nuts, thing is, at that price, i don't know if i would be brave enough to track it, rather than just polish it and admire it all day !!!

The only thing stopping me is garage space, and the wife of course !!!!

If you visit the OPC to look at the car you WILL buy it.

Additional garaging can be built anytime, unlike buying an iconic 993GT3.

But it may well end in divorce !!

And that would cost me around 15x the value of a GT2

Seriously though, if i was gonna do it, my ongoing love affair with speed yellow would direct me to the one at Malton, i wonder if there is any movement on that £150k that they are asking for ???????
