Fault lights on 996. Mechanic wanted nr london....

Hi,

A mate has mailed me. He has a 2000 996 C4 and has reported that following a misfire, a light came up on the dash. The engine is now running on all 6, but the light has remained on.

Does anyone know a decent mechanic/garage near West London who will be able to investigate? Please do not recommend an OPC, as on priciple, they are main dealers and therefore their mechanics are often just parts fitters who would struggle to diagnose a flat tyre....
