911 Roof bars/boxes....cool or not?

For me I love the fact people enjoy their car so much they will do whatever it takes to use it as much as possible.

Cool or not, try pack/prepare a 911 for a trip longer than 2 weeks (for you and a passenger) without one!

Half your stuff ends up on show on the back seats which is less than ideal when touring.

It is the Thule Dynamic 800 M which is exactly the same as the Porsche 320 Box, the Volvo Space Design 420, the Land Rover Sports 320 box and plenty others.... worth shopping around as they are all supplied directly from Thule just with different stickers on the sides.

I looked (and test fitted) several other models and they all looked horrendous - no surprise Porsche endorse this one. There's enough room for 2 sets of carving skis, 2 boot bags, at least 2 duffle bags and a 1000Nm torque wrench!

I also had the roof bars customised so they are completely gloss black as they look naff as standard IMO.

I've seen the one you mean - I already have new bars as I worked them into the deal. But too expensive for me I'm afraid.

Any Porsche with roof adornments looks cool in my humble opinion...
