997 C2S vs GTS values

Average C2S around 40k. GTS average is 70k. Both finger in the air.

How does this make sense ? Is the C2S good value in this context? Is the GTS overpriced? Seems to me the price diff is not justified by diff in the driving experience.

Any thoughts on this?

I think a decent 2011 onwards C2S is more like at least 50k (couple of grand more for the wide body 4S) so difference is probably 15-20k between the two. Apart from a few cosmetic changes and the rarity and desirability of the GTS (2WD) the drive isn't night & day so in all honesty I'd probably save the 15-20k and buy a C2S. To be fair though you could argue you would lose less £££ in the GTS and as running costs include depreciation the GTS *might* be the wiser buy in the long run.

So in summary - Yes, the C2S is good value. Yes, I think the GTS is looking a bit expensive.

Due to GT3 values being what they are, GTSs are holding strong across the board. They're the ultimate road-biased models and priced as such. That either matters to you, and you pay the price of entry, or you couldn't care less so you go for an 'S'.

That's my take on it anyway.
