After six months of 993 ownership some scote(s) have stolen my bonnet badge and attempted to steal the crested centre caps. It happened in my driveway, I'm guessing late at night. It's almost certainly kids on Easter holiday.

I guess I should be relieved that they didn't scratch the car for the hell of it. It looks like a new bonnet badge will cover the small screwdriver scratch that they made. Also, I should be able to touch up the chip in the alloy wheel where they tried to remove the centre cap. (I'm hoping they don't come back for these).

I'm not sure wether to invest in a CCTV camera and improved driveway lighting. The problem is that these will just draw more attention to my driveway.

Oh well I guess it's part of the ownership experience.

Sympathies pp, the scrotes need a taser but they get a safari. Someone ripped the front numberplate off my 911 earlier this week, again from the driveway - wtf is that about? Reported it pronto prescott so they can't get away with any silliness.

Thanks! that makes me feel (slightly) better.

If you know somebody who this has happened to, then put them in touch with me as I would be interested in buying their badge!

sorry to hear about the scumbags. if its any help, these guys have a gold badge kit at £30 , or a rather unusual silver one for £90. might be cheaper than OPC?? www.design911.co.uk/index.htm?Region=UK

There's always some on EBay. £10-20 usually.
