Porsche PCM 3 Upgrade ?

Hi Guys
Appreciate a little advice, I've just bought a Porsche Cayenne, unfortunately no Bluetooth Phone system or USB on the PCM3.
Obviously Porsche Main Dealer can upgrade both , but very expensive ! Anyone had any luck at upgrading the PCM 3 to another system , or had a successful upgrade, is is a DIY with the right parts ?. There seems to be some experience on a website by a company called Cartronics, but cannot get a response from them, perhaps they are too busy ?

I couldnt be bothered with a Denison and messing about, this works perfectly apart from the power socket is always live so it needs unplugging at night.
Sound is good enough with only a bit of fm bleed.
