Indeed as normally you wouldn't quote an engine weight including the exhaust manifolds.
In the case of the 2.5l 718 engine, you have the turbo, intercooler, associated pipework and bracketry all additional to the engine, which is probably a good 15kg alone.

True enough. None of the numbers I have found indicate just which ancillaries are included and which are left off. Very frustrating.
