Project porker, in for mot tomorrow...
Discussion
Ah well... it's er 'resting'
(or should that be rusting
)
Not really much to do, just got to sort the cam timing out and stick the new belt on, give it a service and try to get it through its MOT. I'm very disorganised, should have sorted it months ago
at least now the evenings are getting brighter, I can spend some more time on it

The spit/vitesse was a good combination until the diff munched itself.
should have changed the lot initially.
Handled like a pig though, probably because it seemed like a good idea at the time. I am sure with a few more years under my belt (14) I could make a better job of it now.
I do fancy a TR6, but I also fancy a TVR V8S or a Griff.....but don't currently have any spare coins available. Plus, I have always really liked the 944 shape, yes it gets a bit of a ribbing, but personally I don't think it can be beaten design wise.
Also, it sounds fantastic now as I have fitted a dansk sports stainless exhaust and K and N conical filter jobby, really really opens it up. Yes, it isn't near a griff for audible pleasure, but certainly a major difference.
I'll be on here tomorrow with a tale of woe, or

It passed
Top sense of achievement that considering it was bought from a scrapper as a cat c damaged.
Mind you, it had been looked after very well prior to it kissing something hard, so it didn't take much. (see profile of it for a bit of a chuckle)
That's me one happy chappy, a summer of hooning (legally obviously) beckons. Thanks to everyone that has offered advice when asked, much appreciated.
Kevin, I would agree, TR6's getting on a bit now, and would probably need more fettling, V8S next I reckon.
